Kangba Dwellings

These buildings are typical Tibetan dwellings in Kangba area, Sichuan. They are constructed on mountain side. The building was constructed after the original size. All the special materials are transported from Lhasa, Tibet.

The wood and stone-structured building has three stories. The outside wall is painted white and slopes slightly inward. The structure appeared narrow on the top and wide at the bottom. The windows are small and closed. The building is also called blockhouse.

The first floor used to be pen but now is an exhibition room and the second floor is living room.
